Under AOC’s “Ready to Learn” Project, dedicated to providing low-income students with adequate access to school necessities, AOC Nanaimo members fundraised over $250 to supply the counselors' office at their local school with eight new backpacks. Each of these backpacks will be filled with school supplies and given to students coming from overseas who are in need, especially Ukrainian refugees.
